When you move into a Guardian Storage unit, you can reserve one of our moving trucks at no rental cost. You read that right, no separate truck rental fee to move your belongings in.
The only cost involved is a one-time insurance deductible charge and standard mileage limitations apply. Compare that to renting a truck from a traditional truck rental company, where you’re often paying by the mile, by the day, and for insurance on top of it all, and the savings add up fast, especially if you’re already paying for moving supplies.
How to Reserve Your Truck
Getting the truck lined up is simple:
- Reserve your storage unit online or by phone.
- Schedule your truck using our calendar when you submit your reservation or rental, or call the Guardian Storage location you’re moving into directly.
- Confirm with a manager. All truck reservations must be confirmed with a Guardian Storage manager within 48 hours of the rental.
- Bring your ID and insurance. You must be 21 or older with a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance to get behind the wheel.
- Pick up during store hours. Our moving trucks are available for pickup only while the leasing office is open, so plan your moving day around store hours.
