Guardian's FREE shredding events in the spring and fall are the most efficient way to dispose of private documents in bulk without even getting out of your car. Always on my calendar. Plenty of space to wait in line (if you're an early bird), friendly reps unload your papers and empty your container(s) into a bin before your eyes. You can even watch the bin empty into the shredder if you want (just be courteous and pull out of the line to keep things moving :).
There's a free-will charitable donation (charity posted on website by city) which is yet another way Guardian supports the communities in which they do business. Highly recommend this event!

Excellent experience at a Shred-it event. Fast and painless. The line looked long, moved very quickly. The site manager and elves worked fast and were very helpful. Used this site to recycle smaller electronics. Great partner for the community!! Well done!!

Trish was absolutely amazing in transition from one unit to adding another. Helpful and conscientious! Even down to managing moving and access to the trucks they have available for use. We have been using this site since 2021. Continuing use. 10/10 recommended.

What a tremendous free service to the community! Thank you, Shred-It and Guardian Storage. There’s such peace of mind, knowing that private documents are securely disposed of. They are there till 2pm today and are gratefully receiving school supply donations - so be sure to bring some!

Went to the shred event today at Ross Township location. I went to the Cranberry one last summer. I can’t say enough positive things about guardian and their shred events. They take donations to help local schools and the staff at the events that I attended last year and this year couldn’t be nicer. Thank you so much for a wonderful community service. I would definitely consider using the storage facility based on the wonderful support they provide.
