Customer Service begins with the initial contact call. Truly Guardian’s Customer Service Representatives have been outstanding and more than helpful. On the day we arrived, Lydia walked us through all the details of our contract and showed us our storage unit before ever signing the contract. The actual facility is lovely - beautiful wooden beams and wooden floors from the original building. Units are pleasant. The only thing i do wish that I had know was that the dimensions of the unit are based on square footage not necessarily dimensions. Our 10x 12.5 foot unit isn’t exactly those dimensions so my “perfect” pre-determined layout had to be “tweaked” a bit. Otherwise, I would recommend Guardian to anyone. Oh, I am grateful for the camera surveillance and what seems to be secure entry system. I would recommend Guardian any day!

We came hear for a super secret wine tasting! I am sure the storage is perfect. I did notice how awesome the bones of this old building are and am delighted it continues to be used!

As a kid that was raised in a home with antiques all around, I am deeply impressed with how Guardian renovated this terrific old factory building. I Love it!Count yourself fortunate if Lydia is working on the day that you stop by. She dropped absolutely everything that she was working on, to give me a personal orientation and trip upstairs to the exact size space that I was hoping to rent. She was carrying all of the necessary info with her, and was able to quote me a price when we were standing right inside the space itself. Lydia is positive, sharp, very friendly, and efficient.Since I'm a new customer, I haven't had the chance to learn the names of the gentlemen who work hard to keep the property looking its very best. Hats off to the maintenance guys. The handy bathroom facilities on the 1st floor are excellent. I also had a nice time chatting with David recently. He personally checked out something that I had a question about, inside of my rented space. Great guy, he represents Guardian very well.My 10 x 20 space on the top floor is shiny and immaculate. It has a brilliant ceiling fixture that turns on when the door is lifted. Gorgeous views of Pgh's Strip District are quite a bonus! The two elevators are swift. The parking lot entrance has a well maintained concrete ramp with handrails. If you choose to enter from 29th Street, you have your choice of 4 loading dock bays accessed through enormous garage-style doors. It's in this particular entrance, that a large platform hydraulic lift will help you bring your items from street level to their 1st floor. Really phenomenal! This Guardian location gives you access to your space 16 hours a day, every single day of the week.Everything about Guardian Storage, Strip District is a standout. Most importantly, excellent employees . . . also, its cleanliness, generous hours, fabulous building, and their desire to put customers first. In a time where Self Storage facilities are on every corner, I'm sold on Guardian. Absolutely top notch in every category!

I was very glad that I made the right decision in choosing this storage facility. I chose the 5’5 and was very spacious for all the items I had. The floors are all original and in very good condition. The ceiling height and character of the building really add to the comfort. Lydia and John are very helpful, and friendly and guided me through the whole thing. Very fairly priced for everything included. The facility is very clean had staff maintaining cleanliness. Best you can find in Pittsburgh

We had a medium sized locker for work. The building facility was always clean and well kept. The staff was great and helpful. Never had an issue with access or billing.
