I am clearing out my childhood home and procrastinated renting a storage unit as long as I could. Finally, I drove over, walked in and was greeted by two employees who showed me several unit options and helped me determine the right size (bonus: we got to ride in a golf cart to tour the units on their two properties that are a few blocks away from each other).

Once I had picked my unit, Tea helped me through the sign up process which could not have been easier! They also have tons of moving supplies like boxes, mattress and chair covers, etc that you can purchase at the office, and an onsite van that you can rent for a day to move your items (and it’s super affordable)!

All in all, something that I had put off for months took less than an hour to complete and now I just have to do the hard part of actually moving things into the unit.

Guardian Storage in Monroeville, PA is a great facility to store your items. We rented a 10’x25’ unit to store the majority of our furnishings from a 3 bedroom home while we lived in a short-term apartment nearby. The facility is clean, secure, and temp-controlled. Carts are readily available for moving items.

But the real standout of this location is the manager, Tioni Brown. She warmly welcomed us after our long drive from out of state and inspired our confidence. Throughout the several months that we stored our items she was quick to answer questions. She is upbeat, helpful, and friendly.

Upon removing our things from the unit, we discovered a bookcase damaged by the moving company that was no longer usable. Tioni generously offered use of the dumpster located nearby, which saved us time and money from renting and arranging bulk pickup from the waste mgmt company in our area. She even helped move the heavy bookcase to the dumpster.

I highly recommend this storage facility and greatly appreciate Tioni’s professionalism, responsiveness and friendliness. She is a pleasure to work with!

I had an exceptional experience with Guardian! I do think their service is more expensive than other storage facilities, but I would say it's absolutely worth it; I stored pretty much everything I own in one of the climate controlled units at their Centre Ave location for two years, and I returned to my belongings being fresh with no signs of mold or mildew. The premises felt very safe, which was a huge comfort. My biggest compliments go to Ashley and especially Ray (!!!). Ray is amazing. I moved to a new place and had to move everything out of the unit in one single day with just myself and my 70 year old parents. Ray stepped in without us even asking and helped me move things onto moving carts, helped us Tetris everything into my car, offered my parents coffee and tea, and, when my mom told him it was my birthday two days later, gave me gifts!! So, so nice! Just a huge thank you for making me feel like my belongings were safe and sound, for the wonderful and kind service, and for treating my parents with nothing but respect.

The Guardian storage facility in North Strabane was perfect for our short term storage needs. The staff are extremely friendly and the perk of being able to rent their own van was a huge benefit!
